INSPIRE-SAT7 Mission

INSPIRE-SAT7 is an International Satellite Program in Reaserch and Education, launched in April 15, 2023. Dedicated to Earth and sun observations, climate monitoring and space weather.

Key Features

• Design: 2U CubeSat (11.5×11.5×22.7 cm).
• Mass: ~3 kg.
• Orbit: Sun-synchronous LEO (~550 km altitude).

Scientific Objectives

Primary mission goals include:

• Minizturized sensors for Earth/Sun/Ionosphere observations.
• Earth Observation for climate purpose.
• Sun observation for solar physic purpose.
• Ionosphiric observations for space weather and radiocommunication.

Inovations:

• Student-led development with LATMOS/UVSQ.
• Demonstrated multi-point, observation of Essential Climate Variable (ECV) and inosphere.
